WILD ELK GRAVEL
is the only gravel destination in the East where 1,500+ wild elk roam free across vast public lands—an experience so rare and electric that simply pedaling through this landscape feels like riding inside a living wildlife documentary. Centered in Cameron County at the heart of the PA Wilds, this route network spills into nearby counties and threads through Elk, Susquehannock, and Moshannon State Forests. This is a place of silent ridgelines, steep forested valleys, endless gravel, and the ever-present possibility that you’ll round a corner and come face-to-face with a 700-pound bull elk.
SUSQUEHANNA RIVER VALLEY
combines scenic river corridors, rolling farmland, forested ridges, and small-town charm. A diverse network of backroads and gravel routes winds through five distinct riding regions, offering everything from gentle scenic cruises to challenging all-day adventures. Riders can explore historic covered bridges, quiet rural communities, riverside landscapes, and remote forest roads while experiencing the character and heritage that define the region. Home to unPAved of the Susquehanna River Valley and anchored by welcoming communities such as Lewisburg, Mifflinburg, Selinsgrove, and Shamokin, the region offers a wide variety of gravel experiences, from relaxed sightseeing rides to long-distance backroad exploration.
HAPPY VALLEY
offers access to more than 750,000 acres of public land where the Allegheny Plateau meets the Ridge and Valley Appalachians in Centre County. A vast network of gravel roads, forest routes, and remote backcountry terrain delivers scenic ridgelines, winding valleys, and endless opportunities for exploration. Home to the Grand Happy Valley Bikepacking Loop, renowned events like unPAved and Rothrock GRIT, and a vibrant cycling community, Happy Valley is a standout destination for gravel riding and bikepacking in the Mid-Atlantic.

connects quiet backroads, rolling farmland, forested ridgelines, and scenic river valleys across a vast landscape of Northern Pennsylvania. More than 2,000 miles of curated gravel and bikepacking routes link welcoming small towns and rural communities, offering everything from short day rides to multi-day adventures. Riders can experience sweeping overlooks, historic railroad towns, waterfalls, state parks, and some of the region’s most remote and rewarding gravel roads. Anchored by hub communities such as Towanda, Tunkhannock, Dushore, Montrose, and Sayre, and celebrated through events like the Endless Mountains Grand Depart, the network showcases the natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and small-town hospitality that define the Endless Mountains.
